Building a Foundation
for Future Generations
Indaro Organization is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where vulnerable children can thrive, learn, and dream.
Our Mission
To promote and protect the well-being of children in Rwanda—from those living on the streets to those escaping family conflict and extreme poverty—by providing shelter, education, and psychosocial support to restore their hope and dignity.
Our Vision
We envision a society where every child, regardless of their background, has a safe home ("Indaro"), access to quality education, and the opportunity to realize their full potential.

From a Crisis to a Community
The journey of Indaro Organization began on June 25, 2018. It was born out of a desperate need observed by our founder, Cyubahiro Eric, who witnessed the growing number of children living on the streets of Kigali, their numbers swelling due to family conflicts and poverty.
During the difficult times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the concept of "Indaro" — creating a Home and Shelter — became more than just a name; it became a lifeline.
Starting with limited resources and supporting just 10 children, we have grown into a robust community organization. Today, we support over 200 beneficiaries, including 108 girls and 102 boys, proving that with love and support, every child can overcome adversity.
Our Core Values
These principles guide every decision we make and every action we take in service of our children.
Integrity
We act with honesty and transparency in all our operations.
Compassion
We treat every child with kindness, empathy, and respect.
Empowerment
We equip youth with the skills to build their own futures.
Community
We believe in the power of working together for lasting change.

Cyubahiro Eric
Founder & Legal Representative
"When I saw children sleeping on the streets, I didn't just see their struggle; I saw my own reflection. I knew that 'Indaro'—a home—was not just a physical structure, but a fundamental human need."
Eric has dedicated his life to child protection and community development. Under his leadership, Indaro has transformed from a small initiative into a recognized organization partnering with local government and international allies.
